Can't play MP4 files on Motorola Edge 40 Pro

Although MP4 is among Motorola Edge 40 Pro supported video formats, some users still encounter incompatibility issues when playing MP4 files on Motorola Edge 40 Pro. In this article, we explain how to solve the problem with a little workaround.

“Hi, any ideas why my Motorola Edge 40 Pro doesn't play MP4 videos. I've copied several MP4 clips onto my SD card. It turns up in the media player app. But when I go to play it a popup message saying something like ‘this video cannot be played’. Strangely I earlier put an AVI video onto the same SD card.
